您很有同情心... 但有的人是不领情的,过去的半年每个月都要花大量时间改正和对外解释她的错误的同时还要听她抱怨, 所以做了这困难的决定.至于在职场上能都多远,就不用您太操心了,在经历过疯狂裁员潮后,每天对我来说都是个礼物.是福不是祸,是祸躲不过.只想干好我的一份.

类似的流程走过了,HR也备案了.我甚至同她深谈过两次,她的回答是“I am not going anywhere better here, so you might as well just do whatever you have to do..." 其实她是有心要走的.

其实作为Manager,最难的决定应该是People Decision - 要下决心解雇下属,并不是很容易,不管从感情上,还是程序上(大公司一般都有Performance Improvement Plan的,很多documents & procedures to follow). 如果是Reorganization,大批Lay-Off,只能是无奈之举。只是凡事记住,Treat people in the way that you would like to be treated. 还是常常换位思考吧!

结局:昨天HR来了,她被送走了。虽说是有心理准备,还是不好受。之后同我老板谈了半小时有关karma。他坚信:when god closes one door for us, he opens another...
