By law you can only apply maternity EI around two months before you delivery baby, but somebody got it after they are laid off or quit from the company themselves. Please search in history, you may find some example. -warhook(likeplay); 2002-11-12 (#850959@0)

No. Maternity EI means GOV will pay you based on your 26(not sure) weeks salary before you apply it.If you apply at that time, within these couple months, you don't have any income, GOV will pay you nothing or much less than you should get. You must apply it when you stop working, I think.

如果不开，你直接去找hrdc不过，没有医生的病假单，你是不能申请那15周的sickness benefits。你可以叫医生一个月一个月的开。好象每个医生也不同，看你的运气了。试试吧！ -dinahxh(小白鼠); 2002-11-13 {135} (#852648@0)
