Yes, my check book has no address and phone number, because I don't want others know about them. You can get some temporary checks, but I don't think you could get a free check book.

可以用。自己把地址电话改了就行了。不过觉得这里用支票的时候不多，我的那一百张支票都不知道什么时候可以用完。你可以少订点就尽量少订的吧。

刚来不知道支票用处不大，才订了100张。如果是现在的情况，最好能10张、20张这样订，单价贵点也划算。

对,最好是面对面. 其实这些都可以negotiation的,而且representative都有一定的权利. 我朋友在TD开户,就送了一本支票本,大约50张左右.Good luck!

可以。CIBC的普通支票有很多样式可以选，比如动物什么的。另外有种有carbon copy的支票比较好。自动就存底了。上次stop payment因为记不住支票号码，金额被收了1x块钱。

Only your name is ok. I order 200-piece check two years ago, about $15. If you open an account in TD, maybe TD will give you free pieces check.

多谢大家！看来我不能懒，还是出门去一趟银行好了。:P 上礼拜去银行申请信用卡的时候，我进门看见有个警察大哥在大厅里，我也没在意，直接过去跟information mm讲话，然后约好下午12点半过来跟他们的客户代表面谈。然后我兴高采烈的回风筝JJ商店里。他们一看到我，就问有没有什么新闻。我一点也摸不着头脑，后来他们告诉我，我刚走，有个客人告诉他们附近的TD发生了打劫未遂，银行门口停了n辆警车，警察带走了一个嫌犯。
呵呵，看来要当一个成功的银行劫匪也不是那么容易哦。同样，要成为一名银行劫匪的人质，也要很好的运气才行。:D

If you choose selective plan when opening checking account with TD, you can order as many checks as you want for free. Butthe minimum balance is C$5000 per month for selective plan. Tip, choose selective plan then change to other plan with less minimum balance -- one of TD staff taught me to do so.
