Yes, it's a big bank based in Quebec. One of the "big-six" banks, but not in "big-five". http://www.nbc.ca/

这个银行应该是有加拿大联邦政府背景的银行，他和政府确切是什么关系我没查不好说，但是你和政府有关的税费事宜可以到这家银行去办，比如交纳公民申请费，补交税款等等。

The Bank of Canada is Canada's central bankwith responsibilities focus on the goals of low and stable inflation, a safe and secure currency, financial stability, and the efficient management of government funds and public debt. It doesn't perform retail banking, commercial lending functions etc.
