You are the same as some local Canadian or Hongkongese...They laughed at China when we did not have highway, subway, high building, lanscaping etc in the early 80's.Now they have to admit the fact that China has set up these infrastructure more fast than they image...BUTthey will say: the speed is based on ignoring the environment, paying less to the workers; these are not symbols of Capitalism etc...

我想，这应该和收费制度不同有关吧。按省公路是由纳税人共同出钱的，因为这里大多数人都直接享受在高速路上旅行。中国直接使用高速路的人比例应当小得多，按车和里程收费可能更合理。 -rollor(Rollor); 2002-10-3 (#779459@0)
