You can read this and understand how the US kids compared to the rest. The last time I checked, the US results were worse than Canada for every single category.
Statistics do not lie. You need to compare the average to average. Not a very good school in MA to some school in Canada.

As I said you need to compare average to average and statistic does not lie, especially when the study was done globally by a reputable third party organization, which has been widely used and recognized by the government of these countries.
