这个方面中国和加拿大不存在本质的区别。在加拿大，住院是全部免费，但就算大病也不会让你长期住院；门诊只是免治疗费，药费需要自己付，有保险的话，保险公司会负担一定的额度。保险可以自己买，有工作的话公司会帮职工买。国内也是类似情况。过得去的国营单位，都会帮职工负担一定药费。我知道的多数是门诊包干，住院自己只付10%或更少。
不是国营单位，也可以买保险，特别是年轻的时候买，保险费不贵的。

如果你很想出国，我认为花30万办移民不是好主意，因为这个花费占你总财产的比例太高，不值得。有2个建议：
1、再多赚点钱再出来，国内赚钱比加拿大容易；
2、找个合适的人结婚，嫁出来，降低出国成本。

实在要马上出国，不知道其他小国你有没有兴趣。去南美的小国5万人民币就可以搞掂了。你还可以留多点钱重新开始生活，肯定比你一无所有地来加拿大好。 -fionah(); 2002-9-27 {507} (#771496@0)
