1. Standard, Basic, Low Rate IS the type of credit card (or in other words, the rate differs with each card). 2. I prefer TD bank, because it has mandarin hot line, and it's also the 1st rank online bank. CONTINUE ...3. You MUST open a chequing account for daily use (with a debit card). Usually, it could be a joint-signature account (you and your wife/husband can use the same account).
4. You may consult the bank representative for other choice. I choosed to open a Mutual Fund account. I don't think saving account is neccesary. Other choice includes GIC.

Another word: If you pay your bill within the period, you don't need to care about the interest. So, choose the card with NO annual fee.

yes, TD has Gold Select and Royal has Platinum, both no fee, and have car rental insurance coverage.
