Nice place to go, About 8 hours to drive. Check out their shuttle flight schedule. I remember it flys on every odd days except weekends.

Yes, it is absolutely barren. You will see Indians all the way up, and see how poor they are. Moosonee railway is very interesting to ride. You need to prepare at least 4 days.
