刚刚看到的:Built in wifi, so now you can download new titles for in wifi hotspots as well as using the original 3G technology.
Improved web browser with free 3G web browsing and dedicated programs to help you quickly and easily post passages to your Facebook or Twitter accounts. This is still an experimental feature and quite honestly not the main point of the Kindle at all, but still a useful thing to have.

I just got one with 3G. Love it! Share some resource I found. Also, some books are free only to users in certain country. e.g. You can get Winnie the Pooh for free if you change you country to UK. Enjoy!

Yes. But limited. They called the browser experimental for a reason. I am using it mainly for reading.

I am afraid you might be disappointed if you want it mainly for browsing the Internet. The screen is kind of small. Flash and pages with pop-up don't work on it. I will surf on it when I absolutely have no other choice.

I fact, I am very curious about Asus DR-570.I am guessing it will provide much better browsing experience. But not sure if 3G will be free like kindle. People who love to surf might just wait a little longer to find out. Personally, I would like to take a break from the Internet once in a while to have some reading done. For my LG who cannot live without WWW, Asus DR-570 might be the answer.

Free? 3G for Free? Never heard of that. Most of the service provider (Rogers, Telus, etc) charge about $15-50 per moth for the 3G data plan.

Amazon has agreement with local carriers to provide free 3G to Kindle users.

yes, it's free. but the built-in browser is very limited. it's not bad to browse the websites which are not so fancy and consists mostly text (e.g., rolia, twitter).
