工作学习 / 求学深造 / Please Help!我亲戚的孩子刚完成国内高考，想申请到TORONTO UNIVERSITY 读大学 （他的学习挺好），不知道该怎么申请？一定要ＴＯＥＦＬ成绩吗？如果没有，可以读大学预科吗？怎么申请呢？请有经验的朋友回答一下。先谢了。

如果直接申请多伦多大学，一定需要托福或者雅思成绩，如果想读预科，很多地方都有那种语言学校，还有的是直通车双录取，但不管怎样去多大都需要英文成绩好。读预科很简单，随便报个学校，来了之后努力学好英文，成绩好了想去哪个大学都能考得上。

好像那些华人语言学校都说可以双录取，具体名单我还真不知道，找找华人报纸吧！语言培训类的学校名称对签证影响不是特别大，主要看学生家里经济情况及学习计划等因素。

not necessory, you can only wirte the english test of u of t. that is very easy. it is my experience.

COPE, it is similar to TOEFL but much easier. Uof T and McMaster both accept COPE as English requirement

Got to mention that COPE test is only offerred in Canada, more specifically, in Uof T downtown campus. He must come to Toronto first.
