请教一下：已经买了D40，想买50mm镜头，发现便宜的1.8D镜头自动对焦都不能用在D40上，只有一款400多块的1.4 AF-S可以自动对焦，觉得太贵了，有没有其他变通的办法（用上50mm镜头）？

does 35/1.8 work on D40? it should be less than $400. to me the focal length is better than 50 for indoor shots.
