Don't think so. the asset before immigration is free of tax for CRA. Otherwise, he might get trouble when he transfer that to Canada.

要报！搞多点！比如房子报100万加币，股票也报100万加币。反正都是可以涨跌的，现在多报点，以后不用挨交税。
