枫下茶话 / 法律 / 有没有朋友知道做小孩的监护人有些什么责任？他的父母在中国，小孩有加拿大身份。监护和领养应该是不同的吧？谢谢。

I used to be the educational custody of my nephew when he was 14 - 18. As I remember, my husband and I signed a document with peel education board, nothing to do with the government. Not sure how it works if the kid is very young.

开家长会、学校有事情找我，其他的想不起来了。侄子比较省心，当他的educational custody比较容易。当初签署custody的时候已经说明到18岁为止，不需要签什么取消监护的文件，应该是自动的吧。多问问其他人的意见，也许调皮的孩子会麻烦些。
