10 working days, plus three weekends, plus one long weekend day = 17 days. I am planning to use 3 days on the way there, stay 7 nights in Orlando, and 4 days back.

如果没有特殊原因，这样走基本看不到什么，自己驾车旅游，适合已经
基本熟悉要走的路程和景点的人，否则，光找路找景点，就已经把精力
和兴趣消磨光了。

别人如何我不知道，我是不会这么干了的，旅游，为的是好心情长见识，长时间开车，
还要认路，找地方住宿，吃饭，打听景点，根本没心情欣赏，这样游览，连走马观花都
不如。计划？等你遇到点变化，就知道计划是干什么的了，2000公里，完全没走过，不多说
3个变化(错过加油站-迷路，错误估计距离；找不到便宜的旅馆；走错了路)，整个计划
全泡汤；尤其还有时间限制(时间特充预，到可以摸索前进，心情要保持舒畅，难。

计划是应该的，但是全都计划好了又没意思了，正是这种随时都有的变化才使出门旅行有新感觉，新感受。我出门就从来不考虑吃住的问题，到一个地方再买地图，要的就是这个挑战性。

Thanks. I plan to visit all those place on my way back, so I don't need to drive all day (kind of rest).It will be my first time to drive such a long way, and I am so excited when thinking of it. I hope it will only cost my time, but not money ;)

在美國玩一定要有計劃﹐尤其的住宿﹐沿途的旅游景點。不然﹐你可能會凌晨2點還在高速上轉游﹐就算找到旅店﹐價格也是斬你沒商量。這我可有經驗。

I think he should at least reserver it one day in advance, with those broche got at any Oil Station along the highway, you could find a lot of motel/inns with price.

他本來時間就不多﹐再不計劃安排﹐時間就更少了﹐除非願意住車裡﹐一天可以﹐幾天下來﹐本來就只剩骨頭的BLOOR﹐一個TRIP下來。。。。要麼他有錢﹐見到有空的MOTEL就住﹐不在乎﹐那也行。而且提前一天安排住宿﹐也不過份啊﹐總該知道去什麼景點﹐時間夠不夠。

你大概没有体会过深夜里行驶在高速上,四下的MOTEL全亮着"NO VACANCY"的霓虹灯.你可能在凌晨2点终于找到一张床并被告知 $85 睡到早上10点.(尤其是旅游季节)

同意，大部份人还没有能力享受真正的旅游。多是猎奇；探险；长见识；买东西；观光的大杂烩，能一次就达到这些目的是很难。我去Q城也是什么也没看到，去M城也不过是买了样东西；去O城只不过看到NT得后院，连正门都没找着。

philadelphia(独立钟), Baltimore(inner harbor), DC(walking mall, white house, FBI, etc.), Atlanta(CNN, Coca-cola)i have visited all above places before, not bad. if u don't have enough time, skip philadelphia and atlanta. baltimore and dc are very close.

我长途旅行的经验!1. Reliable and comfortable car (Ford Taurus is my favorite)
2. Backup driver or partner with direction sense
3. Rough planning for the major milestone should be OK.
4. Notebook with Microsoft MapPoint2002 and Internet access installed.
5. Cell phone with pre-purchased minutes or 1800.. calling card

不要太担心。我首次开长途就直接到了DC，而且，那个时候我才开了几个月的车，我老公刚考过驾照5天（他以前不会），一切都挺好。准备工作做好就可以了。

要说那还得是我老婆!!!!她现在还在努力学三点掉头,平行趴车准备G2路试,但她在美国...........老婆北美开车经验"0",(有一国内二把刀的驾照,刚学的)在美国玩时看我开得太累就主动请缨.经过几次险情(1.下山车拐路沟 2.深夜高速被交警拿下).
和几天磨练,她竟然高速上经常120MILES(150KM)/H,而且换线自如,尤善开夜路.多次一觉醒来被她的车速又吓出一身冷汗.
所以老婆回多伦多后落下病根儿: 只会开高速不会开LOCAL(在美国我开LOCAL).
