枫下家园 / 理财投资税务 / 想注册一家公司, 拿不定主意是选Proprietorship还是Incorporation, 从长远来看, Incorporation比较有利, 但是不知除了最初的注册费外, 每年还有没有额外的运行费用. 请前辈指点.

Properitorship income can be reported with your personal return, T2s and bookkeeping generally runs at 2000 minimum, though someone told me it can go as low as 500

Thanks again. Another question: 听人说可以从Proprietorship开始, 将来再改成incorporation. 请问这个过程可行, 划算吗? 我有些疑惑的是, 两种公司在名字上就有区别, 如果改的话岂不就是成立个新的incorporation?

Proprietorship simply means you are operating as an individual, it's not a legal entity, while corporation is, so don't worry

作软件产品和作软件服务是不一样的.面向consumer的产品一般都有个EULA（end user license agreement)，往往是对软件厂商起保护作用的。如果是服务或者定制，就该看合同怎么签罗。法律不是儿戏，劝当事人找人面对面咨询。

sorry I meant the address is "No. 1 Front Street", Either way you will need personal collateral for a loan, it doesn't make a difference at this point... if you want to be incorporated simply becauseit sounds more scary, then it's obviousl your choice

You need to decide by yourself. To register a Proprietorship business is quit simple, just go to the city hall with your IDs, fill in a form. It cost you only 120 $ . To register an Incorporation one,You need a lawyer to do that. It cost you at least 1000$.
Do not forget, you need to have insurance too!!

注册Incorporation, 有个"Self incorporation kit", 可以自己做. 不知book keeping能不能自己做. 下面是BC政府登的费用:Name Approval Request: $30
Basic Fee for Incorporation: $300
Certification of Memorandum and Articles: $25
Basic Fee for Incorporation - Cooperative: $250
如果不用cooperative, 只$355就行了.
