枫下茶话 / 法律 / condo 里垃圾压缩机的噪音问题 （气愤至极!)今年入住一个Condo, 楼层不高. 入住没多久发现有一种高频噪音. 最后发现是一楼还是地下一层的垃圾压缩机的声音. 因为房间临近垃圾房, 声音从垃圾通道传上来, 听得很清楚. 声音不大,但很闹心. 去management office询问,居然别告知it's the part of the condo life. 而且不管,也做不了什么. 及其气愤!! 请问各位有没有方法解决这个问题,或者应该通过什么途径解决. 尝试过去city hall, 可是他们说如果是自己的condo,他们没办法管,好像他们的管辖范围只有公共设施.
求助求助!!! 家里还有小孩,真怕时间长了对小孩不好.

Unfortunately nothing you can do unless it's very loud and in odd timing that is above gov't standard.

政府对噪音的规定都不细致， 而且都是用分贝。 这种噪音肯定不会超过分贝， 只是频率高， 类似电脑台式机发出的声音在高一点。 难道真的没有其他办法了么？！

I read somewhere that there is a single tone penalty for comsumer product. If the sound level in one band is 10 or 20dB higher than adjacent band, the total level should be added by certain number. Don't know if it fits your case.
