谢谢夸奖：），不是出自专业之手。My answers to your questions are inside post.The deck board is composite board, I choose Veranda deck board bought from HomeDepot. For saw, I just use one miter saw, actually circular saw or table saw may be better than it. For deck block, I think it would be good enough for a ground level deck which is not attached to the house. I agree with another internet friend's comments: "2. 经济方面, 用CONCRETE BLOCK可以省不少钱. 毕竟这个DECK 小, 3. 避免和墙体相连, 实际上, 我会尽可能的不去碰墙." -john06(John); 2008-8-3 {449} (#4595678@0)

I bought Veranda deck board from homedepot, I talked to the sales and get a contractor price, 27.35 for a 12 feet one. -john06(John); 2008-8-4 (#4596627@0)

There is a counter at lumber section for special ordering, the guy I talked to just kindly offered me a contractor price which is about 90% off their regular price. So if you will make a big order, go to that counter and talk to them first :-) -john06(John); 2008-8-4 (#4596936@0)
