yonge/bathurst/hwy7/carrville 那个区里靠近bathurst/hwy7那个高尔夫球场有一些大房子，环境很好。那个区有很多旧房推倒盖的新房，房子大，环境好。

是哦, 我家也被称之为thornhill, 可是, 我在vaughan. :-))
准确地讲, THORNHILL是一个邮政区域的划分, 它有包含VAUGHAN, RICHMOND HILL, MARKHAM三个城市的一部分.

基本正确，Thornhill是邮政区域的划分, Yonge以东是Markham的，Yonge以西是Vaughan的。跟Richmond Hill 没什么关系。大部分Thornhill 都在RichmondHill（hwy-7）的南面，只有Thornhill Woods在RichmondHill（Bathurst）的西面。

看到这儿想起说一句。上周收到学校的Newsletter，Bayview Hill小学正式通过了IB 认证，要全面提供什么Primary IB course 。虽然我认为有忽悠的成分，但绝对是好消息。至少搬过来一年，我觉得，这边孩子各种各样的presentation 比原来的North York的小学要多得多。

Teefy Ave （south of Carrville, and east of Bathurst) 小区也很不错。很多家都有自己的网球场，背靠ravine，南面是高尔夫球场。

LZ 找的是自然环境好的。Teefy Ave & Moodie Dr虽然房子大， 但自然景观只是只能算中等了， 这种Ravine很多小House旁边都有。Richmond Hill缺少水系景观。

如果单独看自然景观， 除了安大略湖景之外， Richmond比不上High Park， 比不上Brampton的Heart Lake。山谷不如Don Valley好， Golf也比Thornhill和Markham逊色。历史风情也比不上UnionVille和Thornhill.Bayview/Yonge +Bloomington/19th的豪宅也多以树林为主，无太多特色。
