you are probably paying $20+gst a month for rental if not higher. $724 covers 3 years rental. You may ask for renting a new one after 3 years. Buying out is silly not even mentioning the repair cost.

The chance to repair a watertank is not high. I remember the only thing is motor, not like furnace. You don't have to buy from Direct Energy, can buy from others. Cost $75 to move water tank back DE.I am thinking about to buy a new one as well. If interesting, can pm me to discuss if we shop together?
