Water has to be from by Richmond Hill City. Gas is from Engbridge, Power is from Steam Power. Hot water Tank rent from Firect Energy ($ 20/month).

Better one week before Closing if you are livng in your own house now. As they need time to arrange to check the current reading of power and gas at your old house at closing day and the readings of the new house at close day.

Sorry, I was wrong, the power should be powerstream. When my house was closing, I did these by myself, easy, just couple phone calls.

richmond hill; powerstream; direct energy. Your lawyer should take care of everything. that's why you pay him/her. You'd better contact utilities companies to confirm the accounts transition on the closing day if you don't trust your lawyer
