You never need to aeration your lawn. if ...If you use organic fertilizer for 2 years, the earthworms will help you to do the job. You never need to aeration your lawn. If you use weed killer, bug killer, chemic fertilizer, your soil will compact. You need at least once a year, if you have clay soil.

谢谢!去年才买的房子,草地状况不错,不知道原来房主怎么保养的. 不想让好好的草地毁咱手里. aeration 有DIY的吗? 容易操作吗?

可以，也容易。如果草坪小，有人自己用5寸钉子，做个钉鞋， 在草坪上踩来踩去。如果草坪大，到HOMEDOPET 租个AEROLATOR.
