枫下家园 / 美丽家居 / 进口印尼硬木家具，木质和纹路与加拿大的橡木相似。刚刚买了房子，要添一些家具；但到市场上走走，像Leon， Brick 和Sear 的家具质量实在不敢恭维，基本100%的贴面，价格还挺贵；其它好的家具店，价格就更离谱了。我印尼有朋友生产经营纯硬木（学名：Mindi）家具，木质和手工的质量都很好，款式属于Traditional Style，办完进口手续落地的价格不会比Leon 的贴面家具贵。本人想定一个20‘FCL的家具，但我自己用不了这么多件，所以想找几个人一起Share. 请有诚意的朋友与我联系，我可以提供进一步的资料，包括图片等。因工作很忙，没有需要的朋友，就请不要打扰了，谢谢！

我以前在家具店做过，一般从中国或东南亚来的实木家具由于当地的湿度高，而加拿大太干容易开裂，，避免开裂，木要料要做特殊处理，但成本就高了，这也是为什么很多便宜家具是贴面的，所以从亚洲进家具，你一定要问清楚，否则情愿买贴面的，好过一阵时间后开一条大裂缝。我以前在店里不知补过多少裂缝家具呢，后来老板学聪明了，既然没实力搞高档的，就整贴面的吧。印尼的家具更要仔细，因为那里湿度更高，有些客户就反映从那里买的家具会裂。

你说的没错，进口东南亚的家具一定要选择木料。我们准备买的是Mindi, 在生产过程中经过特殊的烘干（Kiln Dry），水分含量不超过14%，因为这种木料的活性小，开裂的机会少很多，我们2005年过来时，带了几件，2年多了，没有开裂的。反之，带的几件柚木家具，都有不同程度的开裂，因为柚木需要湿度，所以做船甲板是最好的木料。

What's Mindi in chinese? I know 柚木 (teak) is widely used for the outdoor furniture. But Kiln-dried is ok for indoor.I tend to agree with "doesntmatter", for the high end furniture, not even shipping from oversea, just moving from city to another city, you have to choose the weather. As the furniture stay outside for too long under sunshine, the color, the grain, the joint, all could change.
This is another reason why you rarelly find high-end furniture made overseas, and the price is so high. For the laminate/particle board furniture, it can certainly make overseas.

错！橡胶木是Rubber Wood，是很便宜的木材，一般上橡胶汁抽干后，树木才被砍伐，所以木质很脆。
