国内的建筑面积还要包括分摊的公共面积，比如走廊，楼道什么的。这里没有。而且，一般的House, 使用面积占建筑面积的90%以上（具体数字忘了），两者很接近了。你要是买二手房子，很可能连准确的面积数字都没有。：）

也问一下。mls上报的面积是否包括地下室和车库？谢谢了。我觉得有时他们报的面积很大，看了也不觉得有那么大。

地下室肯定不包。车库要看各区的规定。骗子JJ乱写尺寸的多了，大小以自己感觉为准

The best way to find out: ask a friend who owns a house. He can sign-on to MPAC's site, and find detailed official gov info of any house (first 6 free, then a few dolloars per inquiry). The info includethe exact size, the price of last transaction, etc. I did it a few times for frients.
The JJ may list a totally wrong size info. In one case, I found the JJ put a 1600 SF house as 1900SF- - he intentionaly switched "6" and "9" :-)
If you suspect sth wrong, it usually IS wrong.

You need to call MPAC first before the first time you signon. The Login link is beside the eye-glass guy in the blue area. You can check and get the detailed info for any address you like.
