I saw a very handsome one in SQ1 pet store yesterday, asking around $1600, why it's more expensive than buying from the breeder ? just worried it would grow too big, otherwise I would like to have one.

Because they want to make much more money. The Siberian Husky is mid size dog. I was told the adult's weight is 70 lbs or so.
