枫下沙龙 / 谈天说地 / Oracle or Java ? Which one should I stress on ? Please advise . Thanks請教JOBBER，我是計算機本科畢業，打算明年去CANADA，到時候有4年工作經驗。
我的背景是，干了2年的C (TSR，硬件底層驅動)和VC(DLL，也是驅動，和一些MFC經驗)
然後是一年的外企主要是WEB開發(VB，ASP，JAVA APPLET，MTS ，COM，DCOM，MS SQL7) 現在在日本工作還是WEB開發(PHP3，MYSQL，JAVA APPLET)
請問我在加的工作前景如何？我有倆個問題，一是不是在加都用ORACLE ，我對它不太
熟悉，只用ADO操作過，二現在都是EJB。。。 光了解JAVA APPLET是不是不構？
還有現在我在準備SCJP，不知道對找工作有沒有幇助？

As your back ground Java is betterbut not java applet...
you have some basis in C/C++/Web and also OO and distributed technology. so it's very natural for you to go on to java area, i mean ejb/servlet/jsp sorts of things.
also learn sth. in xml, it's helpful
java2/oracle/xml combination very popular here, but oracle is not so important here, only it's the best database available

Thanks.Pls come inI plan to study XML with Misrosoft xml sdk2.5. But I got a big confustion.Cause all the sample are based on
vbscript.Is it ok? Can you give me more infomation about how to study xml?

The best combination is xml/java.
anyway, as long as you understand what's xml, it is not difficult to change to other language

Thanks again!Thank you very much. I already downloaded jaxp-1_0_1 and jaxp_tutorial-2_5, and test some examples.It is amazing ! That should be the realy n tier system which is based on XML.
Especially, XML can display vary client view in web site according to different rule.
BTW, your tag is very interesting ! You know everything from Z to A !
