今天得到一个惊人的消息，希望懂行的大侠予以证实或否认：An real estate agent told me that when I am shopping my mortgage, everytime I go to a bank, IT IS A HIT TO MY CREDIT!!! He strongly suggested me go to a mortgage agent because an agent only checks my credit one time. Is it true that it is a hit to your credit when your credit is checked???

这个CHECK MORGAGE 呢...是要CHECK CREDIT的...人类一看你很多CHECK就会想这个人类在干什么?莫不是在到处骗钱?....您的RATE就低了....不过要是在短期内好几个CHECK呢....他们就会想....这个人类在SHOPPING AROUND....安啦....

不是说贷款broker能拿到各家银行的最好利率吗，为什么我的broker只能提供一家，换了的话，是不是也会影响credit呀

I don't think that matter too much(or not at all). I tried each bank; every one of them is eager to lend me money. HSBC showed me the credit report(and gave the best rate). Agent's trick?

That's true. a mortgage broker told me it's ok if just check 2 or 3 times ayear, or the cridet score would be impacted.

Not 100% true. Going to a bank, inquiring about mortgage products and even applying for a Pre-approved appraisal do not automatically affect your credit, unless they check your credit.
