I was from Sinagpore with PR status. I got a job as stru./geo. engineer in Vancouver after 3 month job searching. I believe that you can success as long as you can keep on your goal moving. The experiences in Singapore is benefical to job-searching.

加拿大在建筑行业落后中国 好几年,你来加拿大很可能找不到工作.因为这里修高楼很少很少.许多房屋有百年历史,房屋的修建在几十年前就已完成.不过搞建筑的可以来搞装修,搞结构的就不太清楚了.

If you don't see any construction of high-rise building, don't say it doesn't exist. I do know and see quite a lot in Toronto area.
