7号公路最近，但是如果不习惯单线超车，你很难开快。401远，但是可以开得很快。通常经常来往多伦多和渥太华的人会选择7号公路。保持时速100公里，3各半小时就到了。

我开过130，140，但不可能老保持在那个速度，120是大多数情况，这样也需要3个半小时。长周末是警察抓超速的日子。

It is impossible to get to ottawa within 3.5hr with an average speed of 120KM/h via 401. To do that, the average speed should be more than 140Km/h

My suggestion is if you don't drive at nighttime, take hwy 7, otherwise, take hwy 401.
