Depends on your card. Some cards don't have any foreign transaction fees, some charge 2.5%. But exchanging money at the airport is expensive too.

In fact, unless you spend a lot at the airport, using credit card is still making more sense. If you spend CAD $400, the fee is like $10, worth the convenience.
