冬天西部很多山头会要求装铁链，如果去那些地方爬山，租车公司会给铁链吗？有没有人有经验。谢谢

Yes, snowshoeing is very popular. Crampons are helpful on icy trails, but not deep snow.

Many trails r still open in winter for snowshoeing, but better be prepared as it is easy to get lost. One girl died this year as she went the wrong direction.

在Calgary住了这么久了，去山里从来没有见到要求装铁链的，有要求的是18轮大卡车。爬山的话鞋上套个crampons就好了。

哦。。我又谷歌了一下，一般的车🈶雪胎就没有关系。没有雪胎的，比较陡的路，雪天需要加铁链。。“It is recommended that your car is equipped with proper snow/winter tires for the drive from Horseshoe Bay to Whistler. If you have all-season tires, please carry chains and know how to put them on. In case of heavy snowfall, a shovel and road salt are advisable.”
