Azores Airlines is showing multi-city flights that allow you to fly to and visit both the Azores and Cape Verde for between $742 and $784 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
While the Azores are a little more familiar to those in the Toronto area, Cape Verde is not a destination you hear too much about here in North America (Europeans are more familiar with it as a winter escape).
Cape Verde is an 'island country' (comprised of 10 islands) located around 600km off the west coast of Africa, known for it's tropical climate, beautiful beaches, and volcanic peaks.
It's pretty easy to travel between the islands of Cape Verde, with ferry services and domestic flights between most of them.
While the Azores are a little chillier in the winter months (highs of 17C), Cape Verde is further south and remains a consistent 23C-25C throughout winter, and even the overnight lows only dip down to about 18C.
The price of these flights is in the neighbourhood of a typical flight from Toronto to the Azores, perhaps around $80 higher than a typical YYZ-PDL flight.
Toronto to Cape Verde meanwhile, being 3-4 hours further, usually costs quite a bit more ($1100-$1400 roundtrip).
