Air Canada had the most flight delays in July of the 10 largest airlines in North America, the Globe and Mail reports, citing a Thursday report from aviation data company Cirium.
Nearly half of the airline's flights arrived late last month.
WestJet Airlines placed seventh, while U.S. carriers Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines came out on top for on-time performance.
North American airlines have been hit by shortages of air traffic controllers, baggage handlers and pilots this summer, and Canadian airlines have also been affected by issues at Toronto Pearson International Airport and weather-related disruptions.
- Air Canada said earnings last quarter reached pre-pandemic heights thanks to strong travel demand and higher fares.
