本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛1.根本不记得自己是申请了什么公司。一个candidate 居然回答了我半天问题才说,哦你等一下,让我看看你是啥公司。让我在电话那头等了好几分钟,然后才说,哦是的是的,我有这方面的工作经验。 我的建议是,如果你没准备好,就不要急着接受Interview。 给interviewer 的感觉就是你一方面说我对这个职位非常有兴趣,一方面却连自己申请的是啥都不记得,根本不serious。 我知道大家申请工作的时候都是广撒网,多播种,不可能记住申请工作的全部细节。不妨给自己建立一个表格,列出近阶段申请的工作职位,highlight main functions,到时候回答问题就会心中有数,对增加自己胜出的机会有帮助。-->This is pretty normal circumstance. In my early career in Canada, I made the recruiter wait for 1-2 mintues on the phone and I do not feel bad. With proper explanation, I still got the offer and the recruiter never mind that either. Great tips about the worksheet here, but there is no need to be fussy about a very personal reaction as a hiring manager.

If you do not feel the conversation is going in your expected direction, you need to interfere promptly and direct the conversation. An interview is a two way communication, not simply a question-and-answer session.
4. 另外一个可能是我个人的偏好,把简历发过来申请就够了,不要老打电话来问。要知道招人只是我工作中一个小的部分,平时有很多其他事情要处理。如果你老打电话来,对我的工作是有影响的,对自己的胜出也没任何帮助。-->if your job mandate includes hiring, it is your responsbility to get to know applicant to ensure your hire the right person. Such responsibility includes appropriate feedback either to the individual or HR department. The hiring manager's manners and responsiveness are usually greatly appreciated.
