I am planing to do a backpacking at Bruce Peninsula National Park and hike along Bruce Trail at the weekend from Sep. 21 to Sep 23 (3-day) or the week after this weekend. Anyone interested in joining me for the trip? You have to have full set of gears with you, including pack, tent, sleep bag, food, etc. And don't forget that this is the toughest section of Bruce Trail and you have to be confident that you can hike 19 km with your pack in one day. Otherwise we will have no place to sleep. ;-)
We will camping out along the trail (not car camping!!!) for two nights and we plan to take bus and taxi to get to the trail head (actually not too expensive). The scenary should be amazing, especially at this time, and will be well worth our effort put into this adventure.
By the way, has anyone done backpacking on this section? Any tips and suggestions will be a great help for us. Be sure to let me know if you met any of those lovely black bears there. :-)
