change it because the worm gear in side is broken which cann't be fixerd. you can buy a new one from RONA, it is called "window latch mechanism"

torontoer(torontoer)
replace it as following,

1. open the window.
2. you will see three-five small screw. unsrew them.
3. pull the handle hardley toward you or knock with a piece wood . Usually they sealed it with sillicon, just push a bit harder. it will loose.
4. replace the whole handle. put sillicon when you put it on to prevent water leakage.

    是那种旋转螺丝推开或关上窗的, 一夏没太关严, 今天想关严发现转手柄推开和回来都没问题, 只是到了要关严的时候, 关不严了, 老滑扣, 用手使劲也吃不上力, 不能关上, 怎么办?马上要过冬了, 我在Missauga, 还找不到人修, 去年夏天刷的漆, 当时有点紧, 但能关严, 现在说什么也关不上了. 哪位有经验的, 或有建议的, 给支个招啊! 十万火急, 谢谢!
