(Did you replace a new (插座) for these two circuit recently?), or/and, was anything change to the (插座) before all this happen??? if you can take a picture of how was it connected oreginally, I may be able to give you a better answer. If the red wire connected causes the breaker to “POP”, it sound like the device (插座) has a shorted component inside where the red wire is connected... I would suggest you to replace that device (插座). If you have the Black and Red connect to the same (插座) make sure you cut out the "bridge" on the top between the two terminal screws. Take a good look of the (插座). two screws on one side is silver screw and they have bridge connected on top, connect neutral to it. The other side has two golden colour screw also connected with a "bridge" on top, live hot wire connects here. BUT you can only connect one single phase to one of these two screws, Not two different phase. Otherwise circuit breaker will pop. 本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Most of the house in Canada has two phases (2 相”) one neutral and one earth ground wired to the house’s main circuit panel, each phase with the neutral should have voltage 110vac and the two “hot” phases offers 220vac. The electrical code requires the “Hot” wire needs to be identified in red or black. And the neutral will be white, ground is green.
Each phase with the neutral will be measured 110vac; every low voltage household appliance uses this voltage to do work. It is called single phase two wire system. Of cause, the earth ground wire is there for personal safety protection, in the case of electrical appliance has electricity leakage, the ground wire diverts the electricity go though the earth ground instead of human’s body.
Any of the two phases without the neutral, will be measured 220vac, this also called two phases three wire circuit,(household high voltage), which used on high power appliance such as cloth dryer, range top, oven, air conditioner.
