I went to a book store and read the Consumer's Report before buying these appliances. I remember I concluded such:

Front Loaders may be good for the clothes, but are more more expensive then top loaders.

Maytag is the most expensive, though it may not be of considerab better quality;

Kenmore and Frigidaireis are of the same level, moderate price and quality. They may be out of the same manufacuring factory tagged with different brands.

The best time to buy a Kenmore is during the first few months of the year. That period is "boxing day everyday" (Sears give it different names every year) I bought mine in March (with no tax) and had them delivered and paid in June.

洗衣机可以用20年，看来，等你搬家的时候，洗衣机一定要作为一件大家什带着:p
