❌大错特错！完全反过来了。The comparative form "get older" can refer to any age group, as in "I love watching my kids get older", but "get old" can only refer to old age, as in "Grandpa's getting really old".

Therefore getting older doesn't suck, most of time it's awesome. 而Getting old sucks as it refers to old age . 别洗了，她错了就是错了。顶楼的context 是王姬老了，年老色衰还不甘心，故sucks.
