如果申请building permit, 只有两种人可以申请：房主本人，和contractor。Contractor license 需要考过Ontario Building Code，并每年在政府注册。但是不少华人都可以借别人的执照揽活。所以有无执照跟活的质量关系不是太大。前边用过的房主的推荐更靠谱。 -2841999(四友); 2021-3-23 (#13587437@0)

最好有水工牌照而且有几百万商业责任保险的。假如仅仅是翻新而不去改动上水，下水，湿气口或干气口，无需到市府建筑部门申请任何的装修许可。假如申请的话屋主自己可以填表交钱，肯定会批准，还派检查来看是否按照安省建筑规范来做了。许多偷工减料的装修公司就不敢接你的活了
