Many people don't believe 房价is going to 下跌 or just don't WANT to believe. Just like several years ago, nobody would believe that Nortel stock would be down to several dollors per share.

People alwasys compare Canadian House Market to US, China or somewhere else. I want to tell you that there is nothing to compare. House price is based on Location, location and location. Canada is just a big different location with only 30M population compare to other countrys.

During the 10 years of economy booming, many people saved lots of money, this is where the house purchase power comes from. Now the purchase power is almost released. Also many new built units will be completed at the end of this year.

House price is very sensitive topic. Lots of people benefit from it. They don't want to see the price down. That is understandable.

Arguing here might just waste the time. Let's wait and see what is happening in the next several monthes. And we will find out who is

      房屋租金的大幅下跌,正是房产泡末崩馈的前兆。
      人们总是不相信历史会重演。作为投机性的房产还是赶快脱手吧,因为你已经挣得够多了。

                • co-op这里也有,但很少;相当于是个使用权、居住权,没有所有权

        • 房屋应该有折旧,现在是不加维护的破房也要涨30%,事实上就不止50%了。此外,房地产的回报率如果大大的大于股市,也会有一只无形的市场之手把它拉回来。毕竟这几年的就业市场和平均收入都是在下跌的。

            • 北京上海差不多, 但是一般的2线城市还是绰绰有余吧. 别拿杭州当2线, 杭州某些消费比上海还高.
