I am from Toronto. I plan to take my family of 6 to Vancouver on the last week of August for a vacation. The biggest concern for me is to find a place to live for that week.
We have old parents and small child. This is the first and perhaps the last trip my parents can make in Canada. If living can not be arranged appropriately the trip will be a nightmere. We seldem travel. I fear that I might screw this one. I checked on web, most cottages are located on Vancouver Island that has to commute through ferry to main land. Some are scattered throughout countryside, or Whistler.
We like to find an apartment in or near GVRD. Any knowledge, hint, or advise is appreciated.
